The best feature of this hotel is the view it affords of Mt Fansipan and the valley from the room's balcony. Reception staff were also friendly and helpful. I was given a room, without much fuss, at about 8.45am after arriving from a (delayed) overnight train from Hanoi. It is located just 5 minutes' walk away from Sapa center, where...

Sapa - what a beautiful place. And the Bamboo Sapa has the best uninterrupted views to the mountains (NW) out the back of the hotel. The rooms on that side are ENORMOUS ! and the beds you could sleep an entire Vietnamese Family on them ! The buffet was Good but not great. However, as with most hotels we've visited...

Excellent location, with very good view of the Fansipan mountain from our hotel room/balcony. We booked a triple deluxe room. Got a fairly large corner room in the old wing on the 2nd level (same level as lobby & reception). Room was fairly noisy due to ongoing construction work on the building next door, which starts at around 7am in...

All trains arriving in Lao Cai ( 1hour down from Sapa) very early and depart late. We ask for a late check out and they offered us another full daily rate to maintain the room ( usd 35). After we did not accepted it we could have a deal to take a shower before our departure to take the train...

Having no lift is a big issue. Heating turned off during the day. Food for breakfast not appetizing and cold. Great location and views.
I've stayed here a couple of times on previous visits to Sapa. This time I stayed in the 'new wing' which is separate to the main lobby of the hotel - I don't think its actually much "newer' than the main building but it was great in terms of being much quieter and fantastic had views from the rooms and...

It was a very comfortable stay in the heart of Sapa Town; walking distance to the Sapa Market as well as the numerous shops along the streets of Sapa. Rooms were comfortable with a great view of the mountains.
We stayed here early April 2012. Like most travellers to Sapa we arrived early at around 7am at the Hotel and despite how busy the Hotel obviously was they managed to get my wife and I into a room by 9am. Which after the long night train journey from Hanoi was most welcome. The front desk staff were excellent, very...

Sapa was our last destination on our trip to Vietnam. & hence we has decided to rest a bit before we head back to routine. Sapa itself in December was beautiful with the mist covering the whole hotel & temp touching 4degree celcius. We upgraded our room at bamboo hotel & I would recommend that you do that when you...
