Any budget traveller looking for a great view in Sapa needs to stay at the royal. Ask for a corner room, as you will have a city view and a second patio with a view of the mountains. The minibus from Lao Cai stops in front of this hotel, so you don't need to walk anywhere. We had very nice view on mountains. Room was quite clean and everything worked well. The staff were very rude and quarrels with guests were heard! They made my trip in Sapa very unpleasant. I asked for a morning call but none received. Luckily I woke up myself on time. The room was not clean and little insects could be seen. I strongly advise tourists to think twice before choosing this hotel.
