The family was very hospitable. I had know complaints to speak of considering the cost. The value for dollar here was average. They could definately use some new towels that seemed soiled but were probly clean no less. In December it can be a bit chilly and there is no heat in the hotel. An good stay.

This is a basic hotel. Don't expect to stay in a super deluxe hotel. It's rather old but the prices are also low. So it's definitely worth the money. I stayed 3nights in Sapa Hostel, it a small hosel, but with all what i was looking for, staff is friendly, room are clean with hot watter, nice view on the mountains.....everything perfect. I had one of my best time joining the owner of the hostel and his wife for a nice dinner. Thanks and all the best for them.

We were looking for a cheap room, with a double bed, internet and some services. They propose tours around Sapa and very good sleeping bus to go to Hanoi. Easy, with a good English, we recommand them !
