My previous two stays at the Victory Hotel were disappointing, but decided to give it one last try for sentimental reasons. This time I was pleasantly surprised. Their remodeling efforts have paid off nicely. The room's decor was tastefully done. Everything was very clean, including the carpet. Generally a pleasant hotel, with Western breakfast, spotlessly clean bedlinnen, A1 room service, daily fruit in room! but unfortunately the small rooms are very uncomfortable when the airconditioning is switched off from 10.00 pm until 10.00 am. Reception staff unable to communicate with foreigners! Carparking no problem. Smoking / non smoking rooms segregated.
