I felt sorry for the owner of this place. She acknowledged as we checked in that there were problems. She had just bought it in April. Bless her heart she got ripped off. Awful, the only reason we stayed was because, in Alaska you can go a long way and not see anything else. We were unfamiliar with the territory and weren't certain how long it would take to find something else any better. I saw some really scary motels, cabins, lodges on the roadways of Alaska. Even if you check a website, you don't always get what you see. I would advise getting recommendations from friends or reviews such as Trip Advisor.
There was no review available which I looked, a problem I hope to remedy in this situation. I wish them luck and hope they can make the many improvements needed to bring them up normal standards of repair and cleanliness. more
