We came to Sadie Cove Wilderness Lodge on the advice of our best friends in Tucson who had been there some years ago for their honeymoon. They had such a good time and couldn't stop talking about their trip. They even have photos of the lodge as screen savers on their computers. In 2010, when we began planning our trip... More

My wife, I and her son and girlfriend spent a week here. We fished, hiked, read, ate and absorbed nature. We were cared for like family. The environment was absoluely breathtaking and the food was fabulous. More

This was my second of two trips to Sadie Cove, and both were absolutely amazing. I can think of a better place to escape from the grind of everyday life and kick back in amazing scenery. From hiking to kyaking to fishing to reading on the deck, there was so much to do at Sadie Cove. Then to top every... More

It would be shorter to list what I didn't like but let's not spoil the fun. First of all the scenery is amazing. It just took my breath away. When I stepped down from the boat I couldn't believe I would stay in a place like this so remote, so much nature, so Alaskan... Then of course come our host... More

My wife and I didnt know what to expect, but Keith and Randi are quite the hosts. They dined us with breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day. Fantastic. While we ate we overlooked the most beautiful natural scenery anywhere. Keith took us on a kayak outing up the cove and can you believe a humpback whale come up next to... More

We were looking for a place to stay before we went to Anchorage for my husband to ride in the Idati-ride. Sadie Cove was the only place I contacted to willing to have guests in the winter. When we arrived Randi and Keith greeted us on the beach, Keith showed us around, while Randi went to finish up dinner. We... More

My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon at Sadie Cove and it was absolutely what we wanted - quiet, remote, comfortable yet not commercial, and breathtakingly beautiful. Our room in the Eagle cabin was small, yet very comfortable and we took advantage of the sauna daily. The food was incredible - more than we could possibly eat. We... More

We spent seven nights in the Kodiak/Homer area. The last two nights were spent at Sadie Cove which was the worst place imaginable! The lodge and it's adjoining sailboat were small, dirty, dusty and out of date. The owners made one appearance for about 10 minutes. The website description sounded wonderful, but it did not live up to anything similar!... More

Like a home away from home for me and the group I was traveling with. From the moment we arrived we were treated with kindness and hospitality by the wonderful staff. The food was delicious and catered to our tastes by chefs Christoph and Randi. The cabins were clean, well appointed & had stunning views. Everything was comfortable and while... More

We echo the reviewer who stayed a year ago and had mixed feelings about Sadie Cove. Mother Nature helps the owners out alot here. We (my husband and stepdaughter) stayed 4 nights. It is absolutely beautiful and pristine, but for what they charge, it is missing alot (a bathtub, a hottub - the separate bathhouse is great but sure could... More
