This was our first stay in the Good Karma Inn, and was truly wonderful. First we were greeted by Michael and Sophie, with a handshakes, smiles and tail wags all around(did I mention Sophie is a dog?), and we were made to immediately feel very welcome. And what a beautiful home that Michael has built. An awesome view of Kachemak... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Good Karma Inn. Michael was a great host and recommended two very good restaurants and points of interest in the Homer area. We stayed in the "Mindfulness" suite - a very comfortable and nicely furnished room with a spectacular view of Kachemak Bay and Kenai Mountains. We have stayed in many B & Bs... More

I've traveled to 29 countries on 5 continents and stayed in every type of facility imaginable. Good Karma Inn is without doubt the very best I have experienced. Michael has a wonderful B&B. The "house" is an artwork in itself, being an excellent example of a Scandinavian scribe log house. And the insides are furnished with wonderful art that is... More

This was our first trip to Homer. Michael gave us advise for seeing moose and we did. His home is beautiful and what a pleasure to spend our 2 nights there. The location can't be beat as you look out over the 3 glaciers he points out. We sat on the deck in the evening and looked out in awe... More

This beautiful Scandinavian scribe log house is stunning! Sitting on the deck in front of our room, we could easily see three glaciers and Kachemak Bay - no boat trip or hike necessary! Owner Michael LeMay bends over backwards to make sure his guests are comfortable. He kindly made reservations for us at his window view table at Fresh Catch... More

I think this was my fourth stay at the Good Karma Inn. I live part-time in Anchorage, but when I want to get away for a weekend, Homer and the Good Karma are my first choice. Michael has planned and built his guest house with exquisite care, and each time I come I marvel at how much thought he put... More

The Inn is little out of town so be sure to print out the map from his website, but definately worth finding. View can't be beat and rooms are large, clean and comfy. We loved his unique art collections and advice on what to do in Homer. Enjoyable stay with nice host. More

Michael, the B&B's owner, oversees his beautifully situated and designed place with skill. He demonstrates great capacity to match guests' interests with Homer's diverse offerings. Each room has a large picture window with a magnificent mountain view. More

This was probably one of the best Bed & Breakfast Inns that we have found. We were two couples arriving from Seward. When we saw this beautiful Inn all built out of giant spruce logs, filled with great wooden art works, clean and modern inside, and set on this hillside over looking the glaciers and bay we were thrilled. Mike... More
