We only stayed one night but it was great....the rooms are small but very clean....we don't spend any time in the rooms anyway and the livingroom was comfy and cozy...Albert is a great host, not to mention the Jack Russell, Mandy, who is the perfect hostess as well...and soooo cute! Breakfast was delicious ...Summer Inn is right in the middle... More

After two weeks of skiing and being outside we really enjoyed staying two nights at the Summer Inn. The rooms are clean and nice, we had a excellent sleep and enjoyed it very much to stay with Albert who is a great owner and a very nice host. Next time we'll come to you again, Thanks, Dominik and Clemens

We arrived in Haines in the early morning hours and spent the day in Skagway. The fast ferry was late getting back into Haines because of a wind storm, but Hannah was waiting for us. She was very friendly and showed us our room. Yes, they are small but plenty large enough for a night's stay - what more do... More

Stayed here recently. Hannah seems like a lovely person, but engaged in very little conversation - she definitely did not initiate the conversation. Did not even care to ask how we were doing, or how well we slept each night. The rooms are clean, functional but extremely small. The beds have no springs (we checked all the beds upstairs) -... I have had the chance to stay at the Summer Inn a number of times over the past few years and each stay has been memorable. The inn is located right in the heart of Haines within easy walking distance of everything you would need. The decor is cozy and the living room offers great views of the water and... More

Sight unseen, we booked the last room at this B&B and arrived from the ferry the following night around 9:00. Hannah, the inn keeper (not owner), was pleasant, showed us two shared bathrooms/showers downstairs and full bath with claw-footed tub upstairs. Our upstairs room was small and clean with two twin beds. The room's windows offered good view of harbor... More

This is a great B&B with excellent location and staff. The view from the porch is just unbelievable. Very clean and good selection of books in the library, cute rooms, clean washrooms, large sitting room.

I had heard about The Summer Inn from a friend who has stayed there many times. It was just what I expected – clean, cute, quiet and quaint. The Innkeeper was very friendly and helpful. My room was comfortable and cozy. The breakfasts were yummy, the price was right and I think I’ll be back next year! You can mingle... More

This B&B was immaculately clean. Breakfast is quite good. Not gourmet, but neither is one paying gourmet prices. Shower and toilet are shared which is not an issue for us. I gave it a three rating for two reasons. Our bedroom was the smallest bedroom we have ever stayed in. There was less than three feet in width around the... More

I chose this B&B on the basis of the other reviews on Trip Advisor. Its other ratings were stellar, and I was sure we had a winner, and from the street it was not unattractive. We were expecting a lovely room with a view of the canal, but what we got was smaller than some closets. We were led to... More
