Bypass Lake Louise and go to Chitina or beyond. There are no walking trails. Unless you fish or snowmobile this place has no value. The room was so small there wasn't even a chair, let alone a TV. At least the wireless worked while I sat on the bed. more

While I must admit as we turned off the Glenn Highway heading for Lake Louise Lodge, I had some concerns about what awaited us at the lodge. My boyfriend and I stayed here on a Sat night and few weeks ago and we LOVED it. We had dinner at the lodge, and it was delicious. She makes all of her dressings homemade and we had warm, fresh bread with our meal. It was honestly the best meal we had had in a restaurant in the past month.... more

During an extended family trip we spent two nights here with an RV with one family staying at the lodge. The lodge and rooms are both rustic but homey.
