This was the highlight of our trip to Rarotonga. Rooms were as expected and adequate for our needs. They included self-catering kitchen facilities (including corkscrew :-). Have just spent 6 days at the Castaway Beach Villas and loved every moment of it. A small resort but well resourced in terms of having restaurant, bar, pool and a deck right on the high tide mark. Combined with the friendly staff who take an interest in getting to know you and your wishes without being in your face... more

Spent 7 days here and really enjoyed ourselves. The Villas are a bit dated but the staff are really friendly and try to go the little extra which makes for a pleasant stay. The best of both worlds in that the Villas are self service but there is a small restaurant and bar so you can indulge. Cheapest cocktails around... more

Rarotonga is an amazing place - we were there right at the end of some awful weather (it was pouring when we arrived) but the staff were so helpful.
