We've stayed here in May 2010 and are going back in October 2012, can't wait! The snorkeling right off the beach is amazing, the beach itself is nice and quiet, the coconuts taste awesome and the cottage is lovely with everything available we needed to make our stay comfortable. It simply won't get any better than this! Mark is a... More

Sorry for the late review. This is our third time at Amuri and wont be the last, this is the most amazing place and the people are just wonderful. Mark had only a few days with us before heading on his holiday, leaving Poppy to take charge. Nothing is a problem for them and they go out of their way... More

This was our second stay on Aitutaki and it was nothing short of magical. Amuri sands is nice a close to the main town and right on the beach. Very clean and bug free. Fully equipped making it stress free and enjoyable. Thank you once again for a pleasant stay! More

Amuri is deserving of its top TA status. It's on a great part of the beach, convenient to town and beautifully maintained. The room was nice, bathroom very clean and a lovely deck to enjoy the views. Excellent snorkeling right out the front of the bungalows. The only negative is next doors rowdy rooster who loves to wake you up... More

We recently stayed at the Amuri Sands and it was perfect for our family of 5. There are two bungalows/ chalets that are separate, but attached by a shared back deck. My husband and I stayed in one unit and put our three boys in the other. It worked out great! The kids had run of the beautiful grounds and... More

I stayed at Amuri Sands for 4 nights and had a great time there. The units are nicely built and furnished and in in the most idyllic location - the view from your deck is stunning, especially at sunset. The beach on which the units stand is a great place for swimming and snorkelling. Mark, the owner, was very welcoming... More

There are only two bungalows, front on the beach. Each unit is perfectly clean, and very well maintained. All kind of kitchen utensils are provided, and towels as well. The screens on windows have been perfectly assembled, no holes or cracks allows the mosquitoes to fly inside. On the bottom side of the two doors some rubber strips prevent insects... More

We stayed at Amuri Sands for 3 nights in July 2011 Amuri Sands is a neat little building, build 2 or 3 years ago, split into two one bedrommed self contained units. They've got everything you'll need, small kitchen, fridge, stove etc. The bed is comfortable, there is a good shower with plenty of hot water, and a couple of... More

We spent 10 days at Amuri Sands. The units are right on the beach, with the best snorkeling in Aitutaki. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. They are reasonably priced and a very good deal, given how incredibly expensive everything is in Aitutaki. There is a small kitchen area with refrigerator and cooktop. Storage space is minimal. Each... More

Travelled to Aitutaki for 7 nights with my partner, the island itself is the closest thing to paradise. Mark was away so Poppy looked after us, she made our stay that much better, helping us get groceries when we first arrived and providing us with an extra snorkel as we only had one. It was these and many other little... More
