Kaps Place is now my place to stay in San José. Great price with fabulous breakfast included. Can't find a friendlier owner than Karolina (and her staff). Easy walk to downtown through interesting neighborhoods and parks. At this price range (and higher) individual rooms can be small but here more than offset by ample and attractive common spaces.

I love kaps! it is super great! The staff is friendly, the breakfast is great! I feel very at home in the annex! I really like the atmosphere around Kaps, it makes me feel safe in an unfamiliar place away from my home in the states.

I have used Kaps Place 2 times in the last 10 months and they have been wonderful. Their prices are very inexpensive, they have very friendly staff and the breakfast is great. It's not meant to be a "Hilton", but if your traveling on a budget, I HIGHLY reccommend Kaps Place!

Kaps Place is a pretty hostel - located conveniently in the city center of San José. They offer a great breakfast, access to a kitchen, and free wifi. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, attending to all your needs. It is a great place to start your trip, meet other travelers, and explore the city.
