From the moment we entered it was a nightmare!!! We arrived late at San José and saw the Ambassador Hotel, trusting the name; we decided to spend the night there. What a mistake!! The first room they gave us was dirty and the air conditioning didn't work. The second one, was dirty, the A/C didn't work and had bed bugs. I mean it, we didn't get to sleep at all!!! The bathroom was dirty, the light fixtures didn't work except for a small lamp. The elevators were all run down as well as the rest of the place. Next morning, they served breakfast in a room which had to be accesed via stairs and no wheelchairs could get there. Fruit was stale, the eggs cold and only one cup of cofee per person. The hotel is as horrible and terrible as can be. The parking lot was extremely limited and they close it down for the night so we had to wait for nearly 20 mins. until they decided to open it. Bottomline, it's not worth it. Not even for 20 bucks. It's dirty, run down, everything broken... more
