This hotel is in serious need of TLC. It shabby looking, and the decor needs a lot of help and renovations. Some of the window panels are missing, i had clean but stained sheets, the carpet was stained, the tiles in the bathroom were cracked, the air conditionning barely worked some light fixures in my room did not work...you get... It's this kind of hotel where you can only spend one or two nights for business. The hotel is old but the location is very good, you are in the middle of San Jose. A place for low budget without taste.

From the moment we entered it was a nightmare!!! We arrived late at San José and saw the Ambassador Hotel, trusting the name; we decided to spend the night there. What a mistake!!
