This hostel is okay, but you will probably be able to find something better in San Jose. We stayed for one night before leaving for La Fortuna. The private room was basic, but clean. There was not hot water from the shower. Also be advised that you cannot pay with a credit card after about 10:00 p.m., so they will... More

my friend and I stayed here, and although its located in a better part of town, the pictures on internet were nothing like the place. we were charged $30 a night for a private that should have been only $15 for the night. There was sooo much noise all night from cars and a newly added train, there was not... More
