Considering the room (and the whole place) wasn't really very clean, and pretty run-down, this is overpriced - unfortunately like many places in Costa Rica. We chose this hostel per lonely planet's guide book only.. the hostels website was very misleading made everything look bigger, nicer.... we came from Arenal Volcano area where they where cleaning every two seconds to not sure if they cleaned at all at wide mouth. Lesson learned never just go by the guide book always check in with trip advisor.... More

Yes, it is spotlessly clean and we had no problems with any of the amenities (hot showers in Costa Rica? Really? You need hot water?). If you go for the cheapest option you really do get what you pay for. Got eaten alive here by bed bugs. They said they would at least refund me. They never did.

Big rooms (11 persons), no hooks on the wall to hang up anything. No electricity in the room. If you need to recharge something, you're mostly lost! There are only a few plugs in the public area, but there the WiFi does not work at most places. Cold water showers only. Swimming pool is nice. Breakfast is included.
