In a nutshell, this is a clean very basic hotel room. This Hotel is on the top of the hill above the park and beaches, it is not perched on the hillside either like many hotels but slightly off the main road making this a quiet hotel to sleep at. The breakfast the hotel serves in the morning is the... More

We stayed at this hotel with our group. It is very far away from the beach (you have to take a 15 minutes bus ride). The female owner was very rude when I asked why she was handing out all the more unattractive dark rooms in the basement to our group while the nicer ones were still vacant. She stuck... More

...but, it is now in not so great condition. For one, bathtubs would not drain in none of the rooms our group was using. Hot water was intermittent, and sewage odour lingered in the rooms that were located on the lower level. In my own room, a part of the window glass was missing, so it was impossible to control... I think you could either enjoy this place! stayed here 3 nights The rooms are great. Had refresching pool with confortable lounge chairs. Breakfast every day is different and it's free. Had delicious rice and beans, a typical breakfast. The coffee is the best! The location is perfect, you can visit Qeupos and Manuel Antonio.

I can say that I almost completely agree with the review done by Gaudi1234 below. We were also here with a small group and had the entire place to ourselves. The rooms are certainly nothing special - very simple - but we made do. The family that owns and runs the hotel was very friendly and made us feel welcome.... More

stayed here 3 nights as part of a small group tour. We were the only ones in the hotel (16 people) so it was great for us, felt like a family travelling together, nice little and refresching pool with confortable lounge chairs. Breakfast is ok, my room was on the small side, A/C worked well but very noisy, bed confortable,... More

We stayed here on the open voucher program offered by grey line. The owner was very sweet and kind. We got to the hotel before check in time, but she allowed us to keep our bags in the room while we ventured out. The place is cute and off the main road and smack in between Quepos and Manuel Ant.... We had a wonderful time when the whole family spent almost a week in this Hotel. The room was nice and extra clean, the pool was in great shape and the water temperature really refreshing. The food was also very good, try the seafood. Very friendly and polite owners and all the staff was great. The prices were really good... More

I would not recommend this hotel. We stayed here for a week in August 2008 and while for most of the week we were the only guests (this should tell you something), we received very poor customer service. The owner of the hotel is an absolute money-grubber and was somewhat polite and friendly when she thought she could take us... More
