Such an amazing place and all the locals that work here are amazing.. I have never in my life written a review but I had to write bc one person changed the whole experience. An expat named Tom I believe is the rudest person and should not be allowed to deal with customers or be in the service industry. If... More

This is an eco-lodge, one of the better ones we have been to. This means cold showers, shared bathrooms, simple accomodations. They do it very well here and if this is your thing, you will love it here! The sound of the ocean surf while we fell asleep was one of the best parts. That and the amazing hike in... More

Corcovado Lodge Tent Camp is a special place to stay due to its incredible location, in the middle of the jungle in front of the sea getting there by foot along the beach. You have the chance of feeling the real and strong power of nature: the constant sound of the waves so close (specially at night...), the dense vegetation,...... More

As short-trip budget travelers, staying at a lodge in Carate / La Leona was a step up in price, but we were very happy with Corcovado Tent Lodge. Costa Rica Expeditions, who book Corcovado Lodge, offer charter service from San Jose (as part of your overall package), but if you fly into Puerto Jimenez on your own (NatureAir or Sansa)... More

We started our two week Costa Rica vacation at the Corcovado Lodge Tent Camp and it was absolutely our favorite location. The lodge has 16 tent cabnis spread out across a bluff directly above the beach. The rain forest is right behind you. We took the canopy tour and watched a three toed sloth for a couple of hours as... More

The effort it took to get all the way there was worth every second! This place is paradise if you think that miles of black sand beach lined with a tropical rain forest and the temperate blue ocean is for you. Scarlett macaws and pelicans fly overhead and there was not a soul for miles. Perfect place for an al... More

This was the best part of our two week vacation to Costa Rica. We stayed three nights and would highly recommend it. For our young family, three nights was plenty. Keep in mind, this is not an “easy” resort. You are camping…in a rain forest…very far from your home. However, the staff did a great job. The food is really... More

Corcovado Lodge is a group of permanent, wood framed tents in a gorgeous, secluded and wild location. The tents are lovely and comfortable. No electricity in them. Clean, community bathrooms with cold water showers. (It was so hot that the showers were actually refreshing!) Gorgeous natural surroundings, amazing wildlife, friendly people, no TV, no internet, no phones or cell service,... More
