My husband and I absolutely loved Hotel Los Mangos. When we come back, we will definitely stay here again. With that being said, this hotel is not for everyone. Know in advance what type of place you want to stay in before you book here. Hotel Los Mangos is, simply put, camping. There is no air conditioning, no wifi, no... More

I've stayed at this location on two separate occasions for 2 yoga retreats. The place is absolutely spectacular. Of course the rooms are small and don't have tons of amenities, but it's in the middle of the jungle with iguanas on the roof and monkeys in the trees. It's absolutely fantastic. If you're ok with leaving your first world expectations... More

We spent 2 nights in a standard room because everything else was booked. We paid around 90$ a night. The room was beachfront (beach is across the street). The first thing that surprised me was the fact that there were no closet or any place to put our clothes. The most basic room in any way. I found it pricey... More

I stayed at Hotel Los Mangos in March 2011 The only negatives were some insect issues.. -When we arrived there were ants everywhere in the room because it had just rained. That resolved pretty quickly once it dried out outside, but something to be aware of if bugs are a deal breaker for you. For us, we accepted it as... More

My husband and I stayed in a $35/night room with an ocean view for 6 nights. We used the well maintained, uncrowded, lovely pool pretty much every day and enjoyed being away from the noise of "downtown," and hung out on the shared deck pretty much every early evening. The building is well constructed with solid walls, and you do not... Pros - great setting, just enough away from the main little street to be quiet; nice pool; yoga studio on site; clean enough rooms; help person at the desk. Cons - no A/C, dark rooms, bathrooms not the cleanest, maintenance staff very grumpy. Expensive for what you got in comparison, although there are also much more expensive hotels that you... More

We are glad we stumbled up this great place to stay in Montezuma. Originally we were going to stay at Amor de Mar, when we got there the room was a dark stinky room on the first floor for $80 a night. We said no Thanks and then found Los Mangos across the street for a cheaper price. What we... More

I rented a bungalow with my mother and sister. We found it to be spacious, cool, and really enjoyed the wrap-around porches with hammocks and rocking chairs. Many capuchins and lizards came to eat from the mango trees so the wildlife watching was great. It was a short walk to town and there was a waterfall hike nearby. The ocean... More

Muy tranquilo! We had a great stay at Los Mangos. We stayed in one of the newer bungalows and enjoyed the architecture, individual porch, private hammock and the comfy beds. It was clean and quiet and the grounds were lush and beautiful. We were lulled to sleep by the sound of waves across the street. Its a short walk to... More

We stopped in a beautiful Bungalow for a total of 5 nights at Los Mangos and enjoyed every minute of it. I am truly shocked to read some of the negative reports on this website related to Los Mangos. It is obvious that people who did not enjoy their stay booked their accomodation for entirely different reasons than the purpose... More
