I am absolutely in love with this Hotel. The moment we arrived my breath was taken away. Because it was slow season they upgraded us to the 5th floor room #503. We walked out our balcony to see the most amazing views of Manuel Antonio Beach and pink sky sunset. Then we walked upto the roof top deck and they... More

Our room overlooked the Pacific Ocean. It was very clean and had all the amenities needed. The staff of the hotel and restaurant couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The hotel is literally next to the entrance of Manuel Antonio National Park. We would certainly stay there again.

We stayed at Hotel San Bada for a few days in mid-March as one of the stops during our week-long study abroad tour of Costa Rica with 105 University participants. The hotel and its amenities exceeded our expectations (in past years we stayed at various hotels and resorts in the Puntarenas region, but they could not compare to this hotel).... More

The rooms at this Hotel were nice and spacious and the beds and pillows were comfy. However this hotel was interesting to us the roof top terrace was AMAZING except the bar was unattened and unstocked along with the swim up bar in the pool. We had to call for everything and the prices of drinks were outrageous! This hotel... More

Just came back from Hotel San Bada. What a great experience. We had been a bit worried by some reviews mentioning poor service, lack of hot water etc. None of those issues were ever a problem for us. The staff is so helpful. They learn it from the "top down" as the manager goes out of his way to cater to your... More

From the moment Cristian picked us up in San Jose, we felt so welcome and by the time we left, we felt like family. It wasn't just the beauty of the hotel, the peaceful quiet location, or delicious restaurant, it was the warmth and graciousness of the team at Hotel San Bada. It really has everything - the beauty of... More

This hotel was perfect. The staff was the best I've ever seen, location was great. From the very unique swimming pool, the beautiful rooms, to an unbelievable restaurant, and a roof top bar that over looks the ocean. Also the monkeys were easy to sight since the hotel was located right next to Manuel Antonio National Park. Also the owner... More

The hotel is a nice place to stay fro just the night. The pool is nice but the wateslide is really fast and scary. The restaurant is really good for breakfast. Get the pancakes! The staff is really good at booking trips and made the stay much more enjoyable.

Costa Rica's slogan, "Pura Vida" (pure living, great life), permeates the Hotel San Bada and its friendly staff and outstanding location. The truly excellent, reasonably-priced food, and great service at San Bada's "Congo Restaurant" alone would justify it as a destination. But, its location right at the entrance to the renowned Manuel Antonio National Park (basically, you're in the rain... More
