The have a teenager working the front desk which gives horrible customer service, the rooms are old, the ac barely works, the towels are old and super stiff, and the breakfast is limited and not very good at all! 5 years ago this place was probably wonderful...but time is showing. Jaco is not the safe little get-away that is described. The "rustic lane" that leads from the hotel to town is a dank alley that I would not recommend walking at night. The beachfront is rocky and full of trash. Ok, heres what you want to know: The hotel is on the beach, which is beautiful. Breakfast included-yummy. Nightlife starts late, but is worth it. As far as crime goes, just keep your eyes open and dont let people sweet talk you to anything. Our room was big and clean, with kitchen and huge balcony. Jaco was really a pit-stop.... more

Las Canciones Del Mar is a great hotel right on the beach in Jacó. It is about 100 metersyards from the street and it gets you just far away enough from all the other tourists to make you feel like you are at your own beach. Great Location. Hotel right on the beach and located near the strip of shops and restraunts, so you can walk there.
