I just returned from Puerto Viejo and I had an amazing time, and couldn't have asked for a better stay at Coco Loco. The staff were helpful, pleasant, and accommodating, and it was well worth the price. Most importantly for me, the bathrooms were immaculate and new and the beds were very comfortable. Everyone should try Coco Loco.

Clean spacious rooms in small cabins with private porch and surrounded by beautiful gardens and all of this for a reasonable price!. A short walk from town, restaurants & beach but it is recommended to take a taxi back if returning in the evening.

Our second visit to Coco Loco and again very pleasant. The bungalows are similar to having your own place with front porch and hammock. Secluded and serene but not too far from the beach and town. Clean rooms, hot showers, mosquito netting. Only downside is slow WiFi. Very helpful staff. Highly recommend!

the rooms are small and cozy, beautiful and clean, with a private porch (and its realy privte). its abit far from the beach, and the only thing missing in the room was AC. no breakfast included. there is WiFi but its shut down after 10pm. the people are very nice and helpful. an dthe price is not to high.

We stayed at the Coco Loco Lodge in October of 2010. It was really wonderful and the owners/staff was outstanding - we felt so welcome from the moment our driver dropped us off.
