The best holiday ever. Our super hosts Antonio and Nadia welcomed us at midnight and for the next eight days made our stay in Puerto Viejo really something special. The villas are immaculate. Private, secure and great location. Very quite at night, slept like giant babies. We sat in our own yard and watched the jungle life around us.Loved walking the trail to... More

We are a married couple who traveled from the United States for a one week vacation in Puerto Viejo. This was our first trip to Costa Rica. We found these Villas to be very nicely constructed and secure. They are across the street from the north end of Cocles beach tucked a short distance back into the jungle. When the... More

La Perla del Caribe was definitely the highlight of our Costa Rican adventure. Puerto Viejo has been an unexpected and brilliant discovery for us. The atmosphere is different from the rest of Costa Rica. It is a cool & easy laid back attitude place with Jamaican influence and a indigenous community living together. We found it to be safer than... More

We were newlyweds looking for a romantic getaway, and we found the best in every sense! This is a cozy luxurious place, literally IMPECCABLE, DELIGHTFUL, very clean and hospitable. The brand new Italian Villa –what a marvellous jungle setting! - gave us the best sleep over all Costa Rica. Such a wonderful bed. All of the places we stayed in... More

I have so many nice things to say about our experience at La Perla Del Caribe - I'm not sure where to start! My husband and 2 children (6 and 4) and I stayed in their 3rd cabin which was brand new - I believe we were the second set of people to stay there. The cabin was a perfect... More

The Villas have been builted with full love for details and design.. quite rare and unexpected to find this italian mini-Resort into the jungle of Costa Rica!! You can feel they made it with full respect of surrounding... More

Confirming top-noch and 5 star at very affordable rating. But forget a "snooty" place: simplicity and warmness are the keywords. If you're looking for all inclusive service, such as Miami Resorts, don't come here! At "La Perla del Caribe" is like beeing welcomed by your family. Nadia and Antonio are the best persons you're ever going to meet. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G... More
