“Friendly owner and great location!”

The hotel is centrally located right across from the beach and close to restaurants and supermarkets. The owner Frank is very helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and everything worked well. We will stay here again.!

Stayed here a total of 4 nights on two seperate occasions. Great location, clean room, AC, hot showers, cable TV, and very friendly staff! Most importantly the rates are very cheap for a high tourist location. Spent 2 weeks in costa rica/panama and this was by far the best hotel I stayed in

right in the middle of town but on 75 yards from a really bice beach with snorkeling i felt this place was great. perhaps not the jungle nested eco resort thats very common up and down the coast it's still clean and comfy and yes has cable tv, wifi etc. since i was travelling for 4 months wifi was invaluble... More

I have stayed in over two dozen different styles of lodging in the Puerto Viejo area and have decied to write a review on each. Los Alemendros is not your typical puerto viejo accomodations in that it has air conditioning, color tvs with cable and is designed quite like an american motor lodge (albeit smaller).
