We were looking for something small, on the beach and away from the crowds. This fit the bill perfectly. We enjoyed our stay and would love to go back. We are not surfers but took some lessons and just hung out on the beach watching. Wonderful time.

Beach is huge, and very nice for surfing with kids, food is very good, there's a great "Panaderia" just within the hotel. Very relaxing, staff is very nice

because then it might get too crowded. We love Hotel Playa Negra. The perfect place to unwind and rejuvenate the spirit. Friendly staff, excellent food, comfortable casitas. Plenty of day trips if you can drag yourself off the property/beach.
