What a lovely little hotel and restaurant! Friendly, helpful owners, great location, comfortable beds, and big rooms. All for a super price. Breakfast is really good and inexpensive ($6 or $7 US). I definitely recommend staying here if you are in the Orosi area and looking for somewhere clean, comfortable, and simple.

This lodge is great! We appreciated the advice of our hosts, with their album full of wonderful suggestions for activitiesb in the area. Breakfast is not included in the very reasonable rate but don't miss it! Of course, the coffee is excellent too.

While checking in, we noted that the German owner is not really interested in his guest. He mainly took care of his dogs and explained us the local attractions in a rush. The rooms are clean and well maintained - however the rooms are not well isolated from each other. Therefore, expect to hear the noices from all the other... More

Dear Quinto Berlin, having read the 4 reviews you posted here on trip advisor, it seems to me that everywhere you go, you seem to have a problem with bad service or bad management. I truly hope that some day you will find a place that makes you happy. Just remember : wherever you travel - you always bring yourself... More

We stayed in the new chalet for few days which was perfect. The German owners are very professional and they organized all the activities for us. They were all amazing : visit of a coffea factory + thermal pool, rafting, Irazu, Cartago. Thanks to them we found a reliable and friendly taxi driver who drove us to Puerto Viejo. Nevertheless... I am sorry that our dogs made you a little uncomfortable - they are real sweethearts once you get to know them ;-) I just wanted to point... More

We visited for one night in February. Orisi lodge was not part of our original trip but was recommended to us by another lodge that we stayed at. The hotel is impeccably clean, well run and the breakfasts (extra cost) are really excellent. The Lodge is conveniently situated for Trapanti park and within striking distance of volcan's and other attractions.... More

We stayed at Orosi Lodge for our first night in Costa Rica. The place felt special from the beginning as the Lodge is terraced up a steep hillside, looking more like someone's home than a hotel. We were greeted warmly in the pleasant lobby/cafe and shown quickly to our room by a very friendly staffer. As this was the cheapest... More

Hi, My wife and I booked this trip to Costa Rica. After weeks of planning we arrived on February 4, 2012 and stayed at the Orosi Lodge. Upon our arrival we were greated by the owner who was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and had the european touch. The view from our second floor room was just... More

While we did not orginially plan to visit the Orosi Valley in general or Orosi Lodge in particular, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We pulled up as the sun was setting not knowing if we had made the right spur of the moment decision. As soon as we walked in, though, we knew everything was going to be just great.... More

I moved to Costa Rica with my wife and 3 year old Daughter in Oct 2010, I have been staying at the Orosi Lodge on average one weekend every month since then. It really is a good value, well run professional hotel and its coffee bar has to be one of the nicest places in Costa Rica to sit back... More

I was enchanted by this valley when I first visited Orosi in 2002. The Orosi Lodge was only little more than one year old at that time. Connie and Andreas, a German couple who “tired” young after working as Botanists for other people and wanted something for themselves, built the B&B. I enjoyed it so much that I stayed with... More
