The view over the valley is unbelievable - you don't have to be a birder to enjoy staying here, but having a room built high onto a hillside full of lush vegetation means you are at eye-level with many tree-perching birds, and looking down onto those foraging below or flying by. Great location up high overlooking the river valley and views of volcanoes around you. Large open restaurant with similar views over the valley. Food was good however breakfast wasn't the best with only limited choice. Vegetarians should also beware as there is little to nothing on the menu. Overall a good stay on our trip.

Off the beaten path - a great find! Terrific little lodge & restaurant hanging off the hillside overlooking the Orosi Valley. Great room (#1), very clean with spectacular view and lovely sunrises over the mountains. Serene. Great views all around & substantial breakfast buffet. Eco friendly. Close to Paraiso & Cartago, & easy access to the river rafting in Orosi.

This was a wonderful place to finish our Costa Rican adventure! The view from our room was fantastic----the valley was our's for the watching! The staff and the resaurant were excellent. Our visit to Irazu was a lovely drive from our Lodge. A perfect ending! We would love to come back! Pura Vida!

The room has a glass door facing the vally of Orosi, the view is amazing as you hang over the side of the mountain looking down at the coffee plantations.
