They really helped me, not only offering good stay at reasonable prices, but also helping me plan my vacation there. Front desk staff provided me a broad options of activities and Shuttles, at competitive prices. I could say the same about monteverde backpackers which is a part of the same Hostel network.

This is a nice little spot that isn't too expensive (for Costa Rica). The pool is really fabulous and well-maintained and the dorm room and bathrooms were incredibly clean and nice. its a high quality hostel. we've stayed in a private room with bath. the room was big and clean, with an a/c. the hostel is full of flowers and trees, and even a small pool. its a good price for this beautiful hostel. breakfast is not included, but you can have it for 5$ i think. i can recommend this... they have reasonable price tours. (there are many street tour agencies but usually they are more expensive than the tours offered in the hostel.) Bathrooms and shower rooms are very clean as well.
