This hotel is gorgeous, has incredible views of the Arenal Volcano. The rooms are extremely comfortable and the prices are reasonable. There is a restaurant on site that prepares delicious food for good prices as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. more

This hotel is just a bit down the road from town and so was nice and quiet. It is impeccably kept and the gardens and pools are among the cleanest I have ever seen. This hotel was a great place to stay. The location is right in front (or back) of the volcano. While you won't be able to see the lava you may be lucky enough to see the top on a clear morning. Clean, spacious rooms (not luxurious but nice); absolutely beautiful and well-maintained grounds. We had a car and so we didn't mind being a little outside of town. Staff is friendly & helpful. My only suggestion for improvement would be to upgrade the mattresses - the beds weren't the most comfortable I've slept in. more

My boyfriend and I stayed at La Pradera for three nights. The grounds of the hotel are incredibly beautiful--much beautiful flora right outside the rooms, which attracted lots of colorful birds. The pool and hot tub are just as charming as they are on the website. You can sit in the hot tub and enjoy a view of the volcano.... more

Really, my only complaints about this place are very minor. Unlike almost all hotels, 1) they don't have a closet; and 2) they don't have shampoo & conditioner.
