I booked the hotel via www.ctrip.com for CNY386 per night with no breakfast. Walk-in rate is priced ridiculously at CNY1500 per night. Rule number 1 is to always pre-book your hotel rooms in China.
LOCATION: Right opposite Hong Qiao Airport which is convenient for as my flight was at 8am in the morning. It is a little distance away from Shanghai City Centre. It cost me CNY45 to get to Nanjing Pedestrian Road. Getting a taxi is easy. Remember to walk out and get your own taxi. The hotel charge CNY100 to Hong Qiao which is like less than 5 minutes away.
ROOM: Very well renovated and clean. Do not have the smoky smell like most Chinese hotels do. Clean towels, powerful shower heads, consistent water temperature, basic amenities such as tooth brush, shampoo, soaps, etc are provided.
INTERNET ACCESS: Comes free with the room. =)
