Location is good if on business in Pudong, local to thumb plaza shopping mall and restaurants. As with most crown plaza hotels the rooms are good, the executive floor gives access to a self serve free bar and snacks from 5 to 7pm each day.

Nice hotel by Chinese standards but isolated from the city. Metro is nearby if you're inclined to share your personal space with 100000 other people. Otherwise Taxi's about 40mins from the French concession @ about 180RMB.
Good gym, reasonable bar and room service is pretty good.

I traveled to Shanghai on work, and stayed here. The Hotel staff was very friendly and was able to help me in finding locations in China, translate directions to Chinese and recommend local attractions and shopping places. v good reception and wonderful lounge. also v good breakfast
rooms spacious and bathrroms v luxurious. location a little away from the tv tower and shopping but easily approchable by cabs.
