The hotel itself is nice and perfectly comparable to most brand name hotels. Clean rooms, well trained staff, good breakfast. The location of your meetings/activities will make or break your visit at this hotel. More

Shanghai can be not a very friendly city compared to all the other cities that one can visit in China. This hotel and most especially it's staff certainly maintained this status. Accommodations were fine but it is not really near anything. I would look elsewhere for a hotel. It did not live up to the Marriott standards. More
