This Chinese hotel is located just in front of the Olympic Stadium. The location itself is probably not the best for tourists, but it's mayor advantage is the metro station just next door. The People Square for example is just about 4 stops away (10 minutes, line 1). The lobby looks classy and elegant. The rooms are good and quiet,... More

I stayed there for a weekend during a business trip. I like the location since you can go out from the hotel and walk around alone for shopping. But don't expect people to speak english. I was surprised that high quality computer stuff is more expensive in this location than in Europe. The breakfast is above average and do not... More

I used this hotel when on business in Shanghai. Our business interest is 40 km to the South of Shangai so the location of this hotel is ideal - easy access to City Centre attractions but on the right side of town to make the journey to our business interest less than one hour. I have stayed in both the... More

Fine hotel, clean, nicely designed with very good international buffet. You get what you'd expect from an average 5 stars hotel in China. For business or holiday. More

You can tell that it was built in the early 90's, but that isn't a bad thing. Very well kept and has great breakfast. It is a litle far from some major attractions, but it was not a big deal. We had a tour driver handy and took the subway at other times. More

The rooms were fine, but our had a faulty air conditioner that didn't work properly and leaked all over the floor, soaking our shoes, the carpet, and other things on the floor. It took them all day to fix it, and our room had people coming in and out without notice for a whole day. To be fair, when we... More

Stayed as part of a large conference, and it's fine, in fact perfect for conferences. The hotel is really set up for that. But not a great choice for holiday makers I feel. Only good feature is it's next to a metro stop so you can get out and about asy enough. But there's not much to see do or... More

I booked in to the tower and so you get a great view of the city. This hotel is great if you are flying in to Hongqiao, it's really close and there's a free shuttle. I'm not sure if staying in the tower has any benefits- but the checkin desk is on the 25th Floor. I would recommend that you... More

The hotel reception areas were nice with lovely flower arrangements. Other parts of the hotel were looking a little tired and were in need of refurbishment. Despite this the rooms were clean and comfortable, the service was friendly and the breakfasts were good with plenty of variety. The hotel is located outside the city centre but near to a large... I was dismayed when we first pulled up to the hotel and saw that it was next to a highway overpass, and it seemed to be an industrial area. The lobby was very noisy with music from the bar and a waterfall. We couldn't hardly speak with our guide. However, once beyond that, we had a great hamburger in the... More
