Stunning beyond words , atmospheric and beautiful beyond compare. Rooms luxurious , service incredible. Quite possibly the most stunning place to stay you could imagine and so worth every cent. A glimpse of the old shanghai perfectly preserved, fairmont does it again , spoil yourself and stay here , you only live once !

The Peace Hotel was just the right hotel for our weekend trip to Shanghai. What a great ambiance in a great location! The in-room features (e.g. Bose radio, TV in bathroom etc.) are ultra-modern and top-nodge quality and the service is as excellent as you expect it from a 5*+ hotel.

Wonderfull and beautifull hotel in Shanghai very well lookated and absolutely amazing. The rooms are beautifull and the atmosphere of the hotel very class!!!! This is a wonderful historic renovation. Well done and I hope to see much in the future. Often places in Shanghai become popular and then a couple of years the service goes down and people flock elsewhere. I hope this does not happen. I love the 20's and Shanghai in the 20's was truely historic!

What a hotel, the experience of this refurbished hotel built in the 1920's is nothing but breath taking. When in Shanghai stay here it is worth more than 5 stars. The Cathay room for dinner is also 5 star.

Fantastic value, beautifully restored. The jazz bar is a must, obviously more popular than ever as tickets now required when none needed in the past. The newly opened Cin Cin bar is very opulent and reclusive.
