I generally stay here as I attend a conference on site, but for tourists you'll be pretty far from where the action is. Clean rooms, and good service. Go up to the bar in the evening for a great view of the stadium.

Taxi drivers do not know where it is, it smells (but hey ho it is shanghai and it all smells), Fairly moderate all round. Nice spacious room and clean and tidy. We could not spend one night in there as there was a concert taking place in the stadium. A very average stay in a dreary hotel. But on the...

This hotel is nice, a huge reception area and very good breakfast. It is very convenient if you are planning a day trip to Suzhou, Zhouzhuang etc as the local bus station is right next door! I highly recommend taking the local bus and do a day trip yourself, it is easy to just buy a bus ticket and wander...

The first thing that strikes one about the Regal Shanghai East Asia is its very unusual location. The second thing that strikes you is that your taxi driver will have no idea where the hotel is and once you've told the driver where it is they'll have no idea how to get there because of the maze of small streets...

I was part of a Tour group to China which booked this hotel for our stay in Shanghai. The weekend we were there, the event center next to the hotel had some sort of fair that started early that Saturday. From the room we were in, you could hear the music blairing. The accomodation was okay. Room was small with...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of a 2 week tour of China. The hotel is very impressive inside and out. Check in was quick, we were allocated a very small but nicely furnished room. Decided to go for a swim and on looking for the pool we asked a member of staff near reception for details, he asked...
