I have stayed at the Shanghai Yangtze Hotel a couple of times , the last being during mid May 2012.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel for 3 days in late February 2012 at the conclusion of a two week trip to China. The hotel was well situated and the accomodations were top-notch. This is a good place to stay when visiting Intex, there are certainly better hotels in Shanghai but avoiding traffic this is perfect. The Sheraton next door is maybe more exclusive but price / quality here is more than acceptable. Decent rooms, free wifi and Club floor is worth the extra money (happy hour). Stayed here recently during the Shanghai Private Label Fair Easy walk to Shanghai Mart. Excellent hotel for business. Attentive, prompt and friendly service. Terrific lobby bar, quick housekeeping and helpful doormen. Front desk staff ultra-professional and courteous. Spa open till 2AM for jet-lagged travelers.
