I just returned from my trip to Shanghai, we slept in Rock & Wood, it was great. The hostel clean, the room not to small, the food was ok, the staff was also friendly, the location is good, there are 2 metro exit, in walking distance.

Here is really nice place to enjoy the tranquility. And Here is very clean, there are nice people. You can enjoy reading books, talking with your friend, and also working. But if you want to travel hurriedly, I cannot reccomend here. Becouse here is not so convinient from center of Shanghai city.

The best hostel I ever tried, beyond doubt. Nice staff, very beautiful rooms (especially the toilet) and the breakfast was priceworthy. Although you could wish the cofee to be included in the breakfast. Thats my only complaint. We were there for two nights and i'm so regretful that we could have stayed longer due to our train scheduled to leave for Beijing in 2 days. Nevertheless, i will be back again to Shanghai.
