A budget hotel with a conevient location close to the Yuyuan shopping facilities. Rates are pleasantly low but it is a budget property. Private shuttle service from Pudong airport at reasonable price. Knowledge of English very limited. No wifi in guest rooms, however free wifi in lobby.
The location is quite conveniently. The staff is helpful however the room given is so smoky. The bed is smoky, even my suit smells of smoke after awhile. However I noticed there are a number of foreigners who stayed in this hotel. If you don't mind the simplicity it's not too bad.
Good points: -near Yuyuan -near to Zara/ H&M/ Watsons -still relatively new = clean -$ -near to ICBC bank and money changer Bad points: -near to Yuyuan, but FAR from Metro station, far from Shanghai-tan and buxingjie -taxi driver may not know where it exactly is, but still found it anyways
Once the taxi driver found the hotel, we checked in and were upgraded to a family room as we requested a double bed instead of twins. It was quite large considering the price and had windows (the website does give the option of booking a room with a view, not all rooms are windowless as mentioned in one review here)....

Not so good points: Difficult to find; away from any metro stations; reception staff hardly speak any English (or French) although very willing to help; European style breakfast rather limited (Chinese style OK).
