I got very confused as to which hotel I was in - either the Dazhong or Motel 168 - there is signage for both. The rooms are clean, even if not very bright. The bed is comfy, bathroom works well, and overall is a good resting place, although not sooooo close to the terminal buildings.

The Dazhong Airport Hotel is right between terminals 1 and 2 in the Shanghai Pu Dong airport. Please note that there two hotels right there. Check-in check-out procedure was very quite fast. Location is perfect for early morning flights, just a few minutes to the terminals. Room is quite modern. Have been here and the adjacent Motel 168 several times. The room is TINY (bed takes up almost whole of the room), but economical, and you are right in the airport. I had occasion to stay at this Motel 168 as stopovers en route Sydney to New York. It is more than adequate for an overnight stay, clean, quiet and convenient.The only problem was the breakfast which did not have any western dishes and as with the rest of China the coffee is deplorable, but that is being picky.
