Arrived at the Shanghai train station about midnight, the nearby 7 Days Hotel refused to allow me to check in because it is a Chinese only hotel, no foreigners allowed. Walked to the Holiday Inn Express, and was given a very nice discount due to the late hour, and free breakfast in the morning.
