Wanted to escape from cold Sydney and my requirements were white sand, clean blue sea and palm. Beachcomber looked great on pics, but I was a bit worried about some comments here. Fortunately, i can't relate to them after spending 7 nights on Beachcomber island. It's definitely not for people that want 5 star resort and dress up for dinners.... More

Stayed here for my birthday and couldn't have asked for more. Breakfast in bed, made a cake, band sang me a song and had the most friendliest wishes. We had a beachfront bure which was beautiful and so clean, a lady even came in the evening to put te mosquito net down and the shutters. Food was plentiful and best... More

My husband and I stayed a night in beachcomber in May 2012. Fiji's winter was not very hot and not humid throughout our trip, but Beachcomber's room was extremely disgusting and humid, some insects, worms and Gecko fell off from the roof from time to time, the beddings, pillows and shower towels were like undried and smelt awful (due to... We were on our honeymoon and booked a day trip to Beachcomber Island. We have been looking forward to this trip very much, as the photos looked great and a few of the reviews sound good as well. Unfortunately there was nothing great about this trip and I still regret having spent money for this day at all. As we... More

Loved our night on Beachcomber, read reviews saying its basic, if you want basic go to some of the Islands at the far end of the Yasawas! This has hot water and electricity all day! I would advise going to beachcomber last if you are going for a trip up and down the Yasawas as you are likely to meet... More

Beachcomber is my Island paradise - a perfect reason to have nothing to do! Stayed in the lodge which was fantastic especially if you get lucky although the dorm would be more adventurous. Before new years/New Years is AWESOME. Food was nice although depending on how picky you are it may not be everyones cuppa tea. Each night we had... More

My friend and I have stayed in beachcomber dorm for 2 nights. The resort is full of activities, including snokelling, fish feeding, coconut climbing demo, kava ceremony, suku demo, fire dance which are all free to join. You can borrow their mask and fins too. They provides three buffet style meals a day with morning at 10am and afternoon tea... More

Spent 2 last nights of my 2 week stay on the mamanuca and yasawa islands. Good fascilities on the island with many activities. Great beach, but taking rent for sunloungers and parasols are not good. Breakfast is very nice. Lunch and dinner not to the same standard. The party everyone is talking about was not there on my stay, but... More

My husband and I went to Fiji for the first time in March 2012 to celebrate our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary, we stayed at the Beachcomber Island Resort. Our experience was amazing; the staff were friendly and called us by name, the resort was beautiful (no need for shoes), the snorkeling was unforgettable, our room was serviced daily, the food...
