My 2nd stay at the Battle House. Beautifully restored and nicely furnished. Lobby just ooze southern sophistication. The rooms are so nicely decorated. We regreted that we only stayed one night at this hotel. Our room, which contained a king bed, was very spacious and well-appointed. Since we arrived late in the day, we didn't get to enjoy the ambience of the hotel. We plan to make this our stopover hotel when travelling to FL instead of stopping in Pensacola. Much more enjoyable. more
