The owners, particularly Naomi, were friendly and ammenable. However, we found the house needing some major upkeep and repairs. The porch door knob was broken; the bathroom door would not close all the way; the bathroom had no air circulating unit so the mirrors would fog. A standard hotel near an interstate highway can provide a clean bed and a continental breakfast, but a locally owned bed and breakfast provides so much more. Without question the MY Victorian Bed and Breakfast was the loveliest B&B that we have seen. Only 5 guest rooms, but each one was just beautiful. The beds are luxuriosly comfortable, with feather bed mattress pads and loads of pillows. What a surprise to find such a jewel in my own backyard! This B&B offers everything one would want and more. The hosts, Jim & Naomi, are wonderfully friendly not to mention their two sweet puppies. Overall this B&B was a very good experience. Naomi was very nice, as were her two dogs. The strawberry covered crepes for breakfast were amazing. My wife and I celebrated our one year anniversary there. Naomi bought us a bottle of champaign and brought it up to us iced with two glasses. She didn't even add it to our bill.... more
