I have visited Goa many times, the last four visits i have stayed at Albenjoh's. Nice size room always very well cleaned.John(Proprieter )and his family are very friendly , full of good advice if you need it.Staff always very polite too.
The rates are good (satellite t.v ,a little extra), this place just feels right to me :), i will be staying here again in the New year sometime(fingers crossed).
I will also mention the Restuarant at the front of the property, the menu is simple but very very good my personal favorites are the manchow and manchurian soups just delicious with a garlic cheese naan freshly made in front of you,service and staff excellent too.
While i'm rabbiting on i will also recommend the restuarant next door Krishna's, small menu also but very very good food, curries are very similair to that you find in the u.k(better imo) , tried most of the food on the menu can't fault it.One word of caution the portion's are large, so unless you are really hungry i... I've been visiting Goa since 1995 and have clocked more than 40+ visits till date.
The only place which has stuck with me is Albenjoh, and have stayed there for more than 10+ visits now.
The rates are just perfect, place is situated amidst the center of happenings, the owners are more like family, the yummy breakfast aunty prepares makes you feel at home and its safe n secure.
The guest house itself is now expanded with more rooms and amneties and is the only place on my list to stay in Goa.

Thank you Uncle John and Family!!
See you around this December!
