My wife and I chose the Tamarind because it promised peace and quiet, and apart from a group of "Brits Abroad" who couldn't hold their drink it was just the haven of tranquility promised in the brochure. we stayed a week and just loved every minute. For us it was perfect, quite, relaxed and friendly. The Brahmini yoga center was only a five minute walk away. We spent many evenings on the lovely balcony overlooking the pool. more

If you look for a relaxed place to stay in Goa this is the place to be. Lovely room with balcony, clean, quiet, safe. The garden is like a little paradise. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you want to go to the beach you have to take a taxi (always available) or 10 minutes by local bus. more
