The owner or so called care takers of this property are very much non cooperative, the don’t know how to speak to customers. Too rude behaviour. we stayed for 2 nights , the bed is split one not at all good for couple. even they don't have water for guests. the uncle has some problem of not speaking politely to people, worst hospitality I ever had . Request people not to book your stay here either will regret for your goa trip even beach is quiet far .

We had been here with group of bikers for 3 days. It was a decent stay at a very economic price. I must say the owner have been very kind. I totally recommend this place if you are looking for a pocket friendly and decent stay. Not for people who look out for luxury stay.

To be honest, when I first arrived in had hoped for a little more luxury, but I am a spoiled westerner. I had a bed, clean sheets, locker in my room and a hot shower for 600rp a night. The family dog was super friendly and Frida the "house mother" was also very considerate and kind. I broke my wrist after a week there and she sat with me for quite a while looking out for my well being. She is a great woman and her children on holiday were so sweet too, helping out and cleaning my room for me. If you need something just ask and they will help. I really felt welcome there :)

RUDE ,RUDE ,RUDE. The owner is very rude and not helpful at all unless he has made enough money out of you. We had booked 2 rooms as we were 2 couples and we got the rooms confirmed. our bus was late from bangalore to goa so we called and told them that we will be arriving 1-2 hours late which was even confirmed, after getting off the bus in panjim we took a taxi to anjuna and we recieved a call from peaceland to confirm that we are arriving , we said we will be arriving in approximatley 20 minutes and we were told that the rooms are being kept for us. upon arriving 15 minutes later we were told that there is only 1 room for us and all 4 of us have to stay in one room ( can u imagine 2 couples staying in one room) we insisted that we get 2 rooms like we booked and promised. we were told by the rude owner that we arrived late hence its first come first serve basis. i said what is the whole point of booking the room in advance then ? and that too after him calling us just 15 minutes before to check if we are arriving or not. pretty pathetic excuse. it was a hot afternoon and we didnt wanna walk around with luggage in hand looking for alternate accomodation. but we couldnt stnd the owners attitude and decided to leave at once and we were subjected to more verbal abuse for not taking even one room. also the dogs are not a pleasant sight . will never go back or never ever recommend this place to anyone. there were far more better rooms available for less than 50% of the price than what peaceland was asking for.

I spent a week at this friendly guesthouse in Anjuna. It is conveniently located next to the main road, a 10 minutes walk away from the beach. Though basic it is clean its beautiful garden calls for rest and peace. The team provides all services neede: laundery, food, other refreshments. The room costs 800 to 900 RS per night, which is not a big deal for a clean and coasy place in Anjuna. However the other services are relatively expensive: washing costs 20 RS per piece and food is really expensive, though of good quality. If you have an issue with dogs you'd better avoid it. The family owns two dogs and they roam around all the time. You may easily find them on your verandah or trying to enter your room. Wifi connection is available at a cost (50 RS for one hour?). I advise to bring your own protection against mosquitoes. The guesthouse is always crowded, I do not really understand whether they accept advance bookings, people tend to check at the guesthouse early in the morning.

The Hotel is well located and it is a nice place....BUT frankly speaking it was too expensive and the people who run the place were not helpful at all...so if u are coming from the real India, don´t expect much from this people which are mostly interested in making money and saving money. For instance: 1. You wont get trash cans in the room since they think you can wash clothes and they don't want you to do that...so, NO trashcans, even if you ask for it. 2. If you rent a bike (we got one really old and broken one) you will get it with almost no fuel, we barely made it to the gas station. 3. We saw one of the dogs bit a guest. So DONT EXPECT ANY HELP OR ADVISE FROM THIS GUYS, THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. There are many nice places in Anjuna anyways, you will surely find something less expensive and much better and friendly. We paid 800 and saw later rooms for 500 as good as this ones. Ah yes another thing... there is no free Internet so if you need to use it you will have to buy a 40 rupees card for an hour.

me and my girlfriend found this place and choose to stay here since it was one of the cheapest alternatives around Anjuna. The owners are friendly and helpful but the comfortability isn't very good. The beds are hard as rocks and the bathroom very tiny. if you chose to stay here stay away from the kitchen as the food and drinks are very over priced and not at all good. the man also managed to get our order wrong a number of times. other than that it's a good busget option for a few nights stay.

Calm & neat place to stay ... Great location. +ves: Just off the main road yet such a silent place, well maintained, clean rooms, good service, cute doggies (-ve if you aren’t a dog lover as I am), family run establishment so its arguably safe, value for money (room-rental). -ves: Beer was expensive (almost as much as a shack on Baga would charge you), can't park your vehicle inside the premises (which was surprising considering the space available inside).

Quite frankly I'm stunned by the reviews of this Guest house..I've been here 3 times this 3 month trip..I've been coming to India for 20 yrs..the last 10 as a travel photographer and this place and the couple that run it are one of the nicest I've met! Very clean airy rooms..at a very decent rate, I'm more than happy. 'Aggressive dogs' well the 3! that are here are v friendly..Child labour? she always has a smile and is treated like one of the family..I can only suggest the people that wrote these 'reviews' have their standards set too high..whatever they are..or at best it's their first trip to India, I can't go through all the comments, most are too ridiculous in my book, either way..It's a good idea to travel the rest of the country if you need a comparison...I've stayed in some hellholes trust me and this is light-years away from being one of them! ...I've also posted some properly exposed photos..have a look and see for yourself! In a nutshell..great place..stay there!!

firstly the name "Peace Land" is completely misguiding, the pack of 5 flea ridden dogs the owner keeps are a very real problem they do (as someone else previously said) bark at random intervals throughout the night and day at what seems to be nothing, they also use the chairs out side the rooms as beds. we were looking for somewhere to stay and came across this place and checked out the room, the bed looked comfortable enough (by Indian standards) the room we looked at didn't have a hammock out side as my partner said she wanted but it wasn't the end of the world. we also checked they had wifi which the lady said they did, so we paid a deposit of 1000rps for one night and came back a few days later we said we wanted to stay about 6 nights when we were asked and then the woman demanded we pay for the whole stay there and then. given the fact it was as far as we could see nice place, so payed, this was a mistake. the woman then kindly informed us that she had saved us a room with a hammock, great! until we go in the door we didn't pay much attention to the bed and just dumped our stuff and when out for the night, and ended at Cubana (any one thats been to club Cubana knows your not coming back sober) so that night we passed out the next morning when the sheet peeled back we saw the state of the 30mm thick "mattresses" and "pillows" they looked like they had been thrown out by the local prison. we asked if we could have the rest our money back as we had decided to leave for Hampi in 2 days time they simply said "no the monies gone to the owner- mumble, mumble- you can't have your money back- mumble, mumble" after that i tried asking for one of the other rooms that we looked previously or just an extra mattress because that was the main reason we decided to stay there, their response was that we should have told them earlier, and that they might be able to move us on monday, and that was the end of it, we ended up sleeping with one disgusting mattress on top of the other, luckily they were 2 single beds pushed together. in the end they never moved us. Be aware that they do not tell you you have to pay for the WIFI 60rp per hour. We didnt eat in the restaurant but a large kingfisher premium is 120rps the most expensive iv seen in Goa, even compared to the beach side bars. I just bought beers at the local shop for 50 each. there were no curtains in our room and 2 high ceiling lights so you cant even hang your own towel (because they don't supply them or toilet roll or soap) to block the light out in the mornings, but the dogs will be barking so don't expect a lay in in the mornings. They use a local girl probably no more than 12 years old to do the cleaning and pretty much everything while they sit around all day. the girl defiantly does not go to school. I only wish I had checked on here before making the biggest mistake of my 3 month trip to India. please avoid this place!
