My wife and I stayed one night at the Mentone Spring ad could not have been treated better. We called at 3pm and was checking in by 4. We chose the Aspen suit and hated to leave it. Leave your shoes in your room and head straight to the front porch to do what everyone else is meant to be doing in the late afternoon up on the mountain: chilin' in a rocking chair with some live music and a glass of your favorite wine or beer. We went to pick up our daughter from Valley View Equestrian camp and stayed overnight. It was a lovely and warm. The staff was freindly and efficient and breakfast was served on the veranda and was delicious! We highly recommend it!

We were there in September, 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owner was very personable and a great chef! Our room was very clean and the hotel has a very open atmosphere. It's a beautiful old place with a lot of personality. We highly recommend it!
