This is a nice hotel about 2 miles from the beach. Clean rooms, fairly spacious. My gripe is that HIE Has the most obnoxious rewards program. Although this hotel is not located on the beach, it is consistent with the Holiday Inn Express chain. The rooms are very comfortable, and the service is usually good.

Our stay at Holiday Inn Express Gulf Shore was very pleasent. The staff was friendly and I even won a prize for using their web site. We arrived just in time for a Mardi Gras parade and the staff made sure we got a room where we could see the street !

Stayed for a short weekend. Property is in top condition, room was on par for this chain. Desk staff very accommodating...asked for upper room in back to avoid traffic noise and it was not problem.
