In the middle of the island, it is convenient and close to everything you might need except a Walmart. The oil rigs were in the Gulf, so they are part of the landscape. A NICE PLACE TO RELAX AND TAKE A STEP BACKWARDS INTO A SLOWER EASIER PLACE WITH SUGARY WHITE SANDS..

Location: the condo is in the middle of the island- mind you the island is maybe 15 miles long so its not really a drive either way you're going. Quiet? Yes. Relaxing? Yes. Lovely white sand?True. But the oil derricks out in the ocean were a surprise to us and, quite frankly, a bit of an eyesore.
