Location: the condo is in the middle of the island- mind you the island is maybe 15 miles long so its not really a drive either way you're going. There's a beach behind the hotel with good space to layout but bring your own chair/umbrella or reserve one from the rental company the day before. There's a pizza joint directly... More

My Wife and I stayed a week to unwind and that was accomplished. The staff was more than helpful and always a pleasure to talk to. I think this is the ideal place for relaxing. The oil rigs are out in the gulf but I wasn’t there to worry about the oil rigs. When we wanted to have some excitement... More

Quiet? Yes. Relaxing? Yes. Lovely white sand?True. But the oil derricks out in the ocean were a surprise to us and, quite frankly, a bit of an eyesore. The best restaurant on the island is The Oar House. Great food. Great service. Mary's Bakery is a must. Ship and Shore Package store/Souvenir store/ You name it store is a hoot.... More

Travelled to Dauphin Island April 09. We stayed at the inn and the 1 bedroom condo was VERY small. Upon entering the condo smelled similar to moth balls or a musky basement. This wasn't only our condo, but the general smell of the place. Condo seemed clean, but upon checking the bed, the sheets had hairs on them from the... More

We stayed in unit 311 and had a wonderful week relaxing. The Island is quiet with no commercialization. If you are looking for a wild night out, this is NOT the place, but if you want a very nice beach and a relaxing get away, this is for you. The only thing we did not care for is the sight... More

This was a great place for us. We had 3 small children and they had a blast. Since the property has 2 pools, they were never crowded. The beach was very clean. The room was also clean and had a great view of the gulf. The front desk provided excellent support, whether it was providing help with directions, attractions or... More

My husband and I just returned from our 4th stay at the Inn and had a wonderful, relaxing time. Watching the dolphins from our balcony in the morning was awesome! The beaches are lovely and never crowded (except amybe in June-July). Which, by the way, is great fun on the 4th! Awesome fireworks over the ocean! The bird sanctuary meanders through... More
