This is the third time I stayed at the Peerless. All of them were business trips - so the tariff is not a big issue, but I keep returning here. The best thing is the location. Right in the pulsating heart of this city, close to the markets and entertainment. Easy to get cabs at any time of the day... more
This hotel is modern and the rooms are good. The downside is that everything is really expensive compared to similar hotels i.e room service, laundry, restaurants. The receptionists were moody and not very helpful and the trip that I organised through the hotel did not turn out as promised. As a single female traveller it was okay. more
I have stayed here for two days. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Centrally located. Main issue is sewrvice. Very poor room service. more
This is a good hotel with fantastic staff. The staff at the Peerless made our time in Kolkata very enjoyable. They sorted out a days tour of the city with an amazing driver who showed us all the sights, he even kept away touts at the Kali Temple! Very good location. The first impression at the front desk was very much impressive. good get up. Spacious rooms, A great complimentary breakfast from a choice of menus. Good view of the restaurant in the 1st floor, you feel really cool there. A great place for seafood. near to New Market, Metro station. more

Hotel Peerless inn is a pleasant surprise when you compare the rates with other similar four star hotels in major cities of India. The hotel is quite clean and most waiters , bell boys are courteous. The Hotel is centrally located near Esplanade Stn / Chowrangee. Its nice, clean & comfortable. The tariff has been increased very high so need to ckeck on afforadability before checking in. more
My office has a corporate tie up with this hotel. My experience was wonderful & I have stayed here at least 4-5 times. The Bengali cuisine is one of the best & authentic that I have tasted. Best part is the location - near Dalhousie, good for budget shopping more
