Rupasi Bangla is a good hotel to stay, if you want to stay near Airport. One find it a little overpriced as there are cheaper options to stay in Kolkata. But if you're planning to stay in the vicinity of salt lake area, that isn't a bad option at all. Rooms are clean and service is decent.

Picked the hotel because it was close to the airport. I expected a typical local Indian outfit. It was a bit worse. bed was OK, didn't even try the shower. The mentioned live performances are a Kolkata version of buying a woman. Spend a bit more and go elsewhere. The O2 will do better.

The hotel did not give the type of room we booked but allotted a lower tariff room. The cleanliness is very poor wit poor lighting and a terrible service. Cleartrip should remove such type of hotels from the list. Sincere advise would be to avoid such hotels.
